Camping at Bamsebo
The campsite has continuously been expanded and modernized in between changes in ownership, and in 2005 the site officially changed its name to Bamsebo Camping.
The following year, the camp came under management by its current owners Iben and Steen Pedersen. Since then, the campsite has undergone improvements, so that it currently offers a wide variety of accommodations and activities.
Here, you’ll find ordinary caravan pitches, tents, cabins, and glamping along with cozy common areas adjacent to Gudenåen, fishing, a swimming pool, table tennis, beach volley, football and the large campsite playground.
Bamsebo Camping has many years of experience with canoe rental, and is always happy to provide helpful advice and guidance with sailing and sail routes along Gudenåen. Needless to say, Bamsebo Camping is the obvious choice for an active family vacation.
- Check-out and payment is until 11.00 on your day of departure.
- You must leave the site no later than 12.00.
- Only 1 car per unit.
- Cars on tent pitches are not allowed. Please park outside the gate.
Payment terms and conditions
A confirmed booking can not be terminated and/or changed by the renter.
- Cancellations that are at least 60 days in advance of the arrival date, will be refunded, however, a fee of 350 DKK will be deducted from the total amount. Any total amount less than 400 DKK will not be refunded.
- If you cancel your stay within 60 days of the arrival date, you will not be refunded.
- Bookings can not be handed over to third parties, and can not be reassigned to another date. Shortened stays and/or a lower number of occupants are not admissible to any form of compensation.
Guests are not exempted from paying rental costs, if the guests due to force majeure, (War, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, border shut downs and things alike) are prevented in exercising their rights in accordance with the terms and conditions of the booking.
Prices and rates
The campsite has kitchen facilities, charge station for mobile phones, free Wi-Fi, bathrooms, and toilets.

Practical information:
- Shop and reception: See opening hours on the doors of the shop and reception.
- Freshly baked goods must be ordered a day in advance at the shop.
- Pool opening hours: From the start of June until the start of September.
- All activities are free - except for minigolf. If you do not own equipment for table tennis or beach volley, it can be rented from the reception.
- Ball games must be played on the sports field.
- Fishing within the area of the camp is free, if you are staying overnight.
Remember:
- Keep a distance of at least 3 meters between tents/caravans.
- The campsite's speed limit is 10 kph.
- Driving on the campsite is prohibited between 22.00 - 07.00.
- Noise restrictions are in effect between 23.00 - 07.00
- Open fires are only allowed at the firepit.
- Disposable grills are not allowed. Please use the designated grills.

- Outside visitors must report their presence at the reception
- Dogs must be on a leash and walked outside of the camp. Dog poop bags can be acquired on the camp.
- Do not litter - (Not even cigarette butts) - There are trash cans, bins and ashtrays for these purposes.
